A Personal Reflection

I have been slowly, the key word here, slowly, working over the winter. Being able to have some time off to work on your own goals is definitely a privilege I know a lot of people are not able to. That being said, it's not great financially and while I'm home I seem to spend a good chunk of my weeks doing chores.
But it has given me the opportunity to learn a little bit about myself. I am not a morning person, I never have, and it often takes me a while to get the day started. Around 3.00 - 4.00 in the afternoon is when I seem to be most productive. I find trying to force myself to work only leads to resentment and a lack of any creativity, in short, I'm wasting my own time by trying to work.
I'm progressing in my skills, particularly in the technical department. I enjoy editing vlogs for my YouTube channel and I'm getting better at designing products. My progress may be slow but I've had to learn so much and I have to keep reminding myself "it's a marathon, not a sprint." I'm a slow artist, my work takes time to complete and to try and not compare my myself to others, everyone's journey is different.
I have made it my goal to continue working on my art business into the future. In the past other work has taken my time and energy but if I want to succeed I need to keep that little moss ball rolling along the forest floor.
